Latest Badminton Victoria Under 19 Teams (May 22, 2010)
WSBA congratulates James Audley, David Cutroni and Tegan Berry on their selection in the Vic. 1 Team and Jacob McNally, Jing Wu and Jen Trinh on their selection in the Vic. 2 Team to play in the CP Maddern Trophy in Launceston in July.
Pauline Martin will Manage the Vic. 1 Team, Liz Martin will Manage the Vic. 2 Team and Jen Kang will Coach the Vic. 2 Team.

Latest News from Badminton Victoria (May 05, 2010)
WSBA congratulates James Audley, David Cutroni and Tegan Berry on being selected to represent Victoria 1 and Jacob McNally selected to represent Victoria 2, at the CP Maddern Under 19 Carnival in Launceston,Tasmania from the 3rd - 6th July.
The teams will be managed by Pauline and Liz Martin, WSBA thanks them for their volunteer commitment to Badminton in Victoria. Jen Kang, another WSBA Coach will coach Victoria 2.

Badminton Victoria's Awards Night (Apr 17, 2010)
Badminton Victoria recently held its annual Awards Night at Kooringal Golf Club in Altona.
WSBA is the 2009 Association of the Year, Michelle Rigg is the 2009 Coach of the Year and Karen Audley is the 2009 Volunteer of the Year.
Congratulations to all!
Badminton Australia also presented Pat Daw and Dianne Carter with an Award of Merit for services to Badminton.

2010 Under 17 Australasian Carnival, incorporating the June Bevan Trophy (Apr 17, 2010)
WSBA congratulates Victoria 1 on their win in the June Bevan Trophy.
Victoria 2 was in the playoff for 3/4 and of the five games Vic 2 won, our WSBA Junior Squad members James, Eric and Jen were in four of those winning combinations, a great effort!
We also congratulate Eric, who was the Runner Up in the Plate Singles.
What a wonderful performance from our players who were under the guidance of Pauline & Liz Martin, the Coach and Manager of Vic 2.

Williamstown High School Gymnasium, Bayview Street, Williamstown (Apr 13, 2010)
WSBA has hired the Gymnasium at Bayview Street, opposite the Gellibrand Street intersection, on a Monday night from 7.00pm - 10.00pm.
This gives us access to three more courts.

2010 Altona International Future Series (Apr 12, 2010)
What a great three days of badminton!
Special thanks to Ron & Pat as Tournament Directors, Peter Griffin and Sandra David as our Referees and the umpires and line judges for their time and expertise. A special mention to Dave and Maurice who umpired many matches in our Graded events on Saturday and Sunday.
Congratulations to all players for their sportsmanship during the tournament.

Vale Les Crofts (Apr 12, 2010)
Les Crofts, who, as the Mayor of the City of Altona, officially opened the Altona Badminton Centre in 1985, has passed away.
The WSBA Staff and Committee send condolences to June and Family on their loss.
Les and June were great supporters of badminton and donated the silver cup for the Open Men's Singles.

2010 Altona International Future Series and Altona Graded (Apr 07, 2010)
The Schedule for Friday's play is available via the Tournament Software link.
A Grade will commence at 8.45am on Saturday with Mixed, followed by Singles (the singles should start at approximately 11.00am) and Doubles.
On Sunday, all B & C Grade matches will commence at 8.45am.
B Grade will commence with Singles, followed by Doubles (commencing at approximately 11.30am) and Mixed.
C Grade will commence with Doubles, followed by Singles (commencing at approximately 11.00am) and Mixed.
